A Social Network Development Model

Way back in the social networking Dark Ages, OK - October 2005, I published a "A Virtual Community Development Model" with sports metaphors for each stage. Looking back today I think some of it still applies to the development of those social networks driven primarily by shared interests/knowledge (rather than by relationship building). But see what you think?

Abyss tokyo flash watch - Never get far too thrilled now, this blue LED digital watch does not truly carry the performance of the touchscreen system - or even the value - but what it does have is actually a circle of LEDs close to the rim (just like #1 on this checklist) which might be turned on basically by touching the metallic floor. I nevertheless discover that rather awesome, so undoubtedly verify it out. (Be aware: Even though this observe is marketed by Thinkgeek it had been not developed by them, and it is consequently obtainable in lots of various areas.)

Leadership under pressure: the two worst mistakes

Leadership under pressure: the two worst mistakes
I have been thinking a lot about what happens when a leader gets under severe pressure, usually because things are not going according to plan. It seems to me this is the very essence of real leadership and where leaders can really justify their salaries. BUT according to Professor Dietrich Dorner, in his excellent book The Logic Of Failure: Recognizing And Avoiding Error In Complex Situations, there are two very tempting but ultimately disastrous tangents a leader can pursue in a crisis instead of addressing the real issues.
