Bioteams Books Reviews
Leadership and Self-Deception
A few months ago I read the book "Leadership and Self-Deception". Then I became a friend of the Arbinger Institute, went through some training with them in London and may be involved with them in the future. So I suppose the book inspired me – here’s why! Guest book review by Mario Gastaldi.

Dear Ken,
your stuff is truly made for this I-Age, best practice and lesson learned was yesterday, your suggestions are pure REAL risk management, exactly, what is very much needed for multinational business improvement, I can tell. All this human factor issues like cross functional team performance and high quality collaboration, complex problem solving and decision making are big hidden cost drivers and are hard to measure by most of the common earned value management systems within our business world (Anyway you can´t just cost cut your way to prosperity!). But meanwhile, thanks God, there are already also proven methods to measure the outcome of all this intangible values, like team performance effectivity, or workforce learning levels. You know, what gets measured, gets managed. An additional clear return on investment accountability assessment(ROI)- yes this is possible meanwhile!... for this intangible human factor values is paving the way into high end organizational process improvement.
