When teambuilding goes bad
When a team building session goes wrong or out of control or slips into inappropriate behaviour it is not just the staff involved who will face the music but the senior executives in the company who allowed it to happen.

In Lawsuit Reveals Team Building Gone Berserk Workforce Management reports how a California company's use of spanking and humiliation as sales motivation tools led to a costly lawsuit.

There was another incident on the east coast where an employee sued the company for using Water-boarding as a means of team building. Yes water-boarding.

Thanks Jason - unbelievable!
I think a lot of this kind of "team-building" is more about stroking the egos of control-freak managers/leaders than doing anything for teams.
Shame on any consultant or facilitator who goes along with it!
