Wikipedia bans anonymous entries
Good collaboration needs accountability
Buzzle.com reports (7 Dec 2005) that wikipedia has been forced to change its policies to ensure that contributions can only be made by logged in users. Recently there have been possible libel cases around "false and malicious" wikipedia entries, 'vanity editing', and the question of how any of its entries can be trusted without author identification. When not to collaborate
A team of one is sometimes best. It might sound like heresy but sometimes the most effective way to produce something is not through collaboration. Collaboration is best for tasks which cannot be fully achieved by a single person – if a job can be completed best by one person then to collaborate to do it will only make it worse.
