Demos ThinkTank urges a more biological approach to civic engagement via OSS
Government should look to Open Source for more than software
Demos, an influential Think Tank, in their latest report "Wide Open" are suggesting a radical and highly biological/evolutionary approach to how citizens could participate in policy making by learning from the Open Source Software (OSS) movement.

- Experimentation & Evolutary approach to New Ideas
- Treating Citizens as responsible Adults
- Less emphasis on neutralising Trouble Makers
- Use of the Web as Open Public Spaces
- Open Team Working
